Come see through our lens, the historic Golden City of Jaisalmer!

Jaisalmer is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan and is named after the Rao, Jaisal, a Bhatti tribe ruler who founded the city in 1156 AD and means “the Hill Fort of Jaisal”. The medieval city of Jaisalmer is called the “Golden City” because of the use of sandstone, which imbues throughout the architecture of the fort and town below with a golden-yellow glow. The fort of Jaisalmer, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is perhaps the only fort which continues to be inhabited by its residents. Come join us to discover this goldmine full of magnificent Havelis which are intricately designed and experience the best cultural moments on the streets that lie within the fort. An additional gem not to be missed are the camel safaris through the Sam Sand Dunes.
